How can I get involved?

Do you want to take responsibility for the quality of your local community or environment?

We hold 'Total Focus' events in towns and fly-tipping hotspots across Wales, working with partners including Keep Wales Tidy, the police and fire services, various residents associations and many more.

You can get involved in litter picks in your community, help out clearing large fly-tipped sites and even clear some of your unwanted household waste at our community skip days.

What’s more, in the fight to tackle fly-tipping, we carry out school visits, door-knocks to educate people on the their duty of care towards waste and police stop-checks of vehicles are carried out to ensure waste carriers are registered with Natural Resources Wales.

Be vigilant and report any fly-tipping to your local authority, you can use our interactive map to find your local authority contact details.

Thinking of your unwanted items as a resource

Can your neighbours or local charities make use of your unwanted items, or can they be up-cycled? Freecycle, Preloved, eBay and many other websites provide great ways to sell and re-use. Also, don't forget local charity shops!

You can also get involved in the Tidy Towns project, helping communities to adopt fly-tipping and litter hot-spots and restore them to their former glory. To find out more, visit Keep Wales Tidy
